CO2 emissions seriously damage our planet as does the waste generated by mass production. Our aspiration? Rewriting the rules of retail with a zero ecological footprint, demonstrating that it is possible to combine commercial excellence and respect for the environment.
Why 3D printing?
3D printing is at the heart of our sustainable vision at Geoka, reducing waste and using eco-friendly materials such as PLA, sourced from renewable resources. This technology not only minimizes energy use compared to traditional methods, but also allows for on-site production, reducing transportation emissions and supporting local communities. Our mission is to demonstrate how innovation can go hand in hand with environmental care, promoting a greener future.
Sustainability in Geoka today
-
Production on demand
We produce exclusively on demand to avoid waste and overproduction. This approach allows us to minimize excess inventory and respond nimbly to the specific needs of our customers, ensuring that every product is created with a purpose.
-
Sustainable materials and more
The choice for sustainability does not stop at the material used but also at the suppliers and their actions. This is why we opted for Polymaker and their product PolyTerra PLA that uses 100% recycled cardboard reels and for every sale contributes to the planting of a tree.
-
100% recycled cardboard packaging
We have always adopted an eco-friendly approach to our packaging, choosing to use only recycled cardboard, completely excluding the use of plastic. In this way we minimize the environmental impact of our activities.
Next steps

Shaping the future with solar energy
We aim to power all our operations with renewable energy. Installing solar panels will be a significant step towards energy self-sufficiency and respect for our planet.

Transforming waste into resources
The Shredder and the Extruder will help us transform waste into new filaments to give life to new creations. We will soon launch a reuse initiative inviting our customers to return any Geoka product they have finished using. This will help extend the life of materials and reduce environmental impact.

From bottles to the common good
We aim to implement processes to convert plastic bottles intended for recycling into PET filament. We will use this material not only to support a circular economy and a cleaner environment, but also to create objects for sale for charity, combining sustainability and solidarity in each product.
